A Year In Style

So...here's a bunch of unseen piccies to round off 2012. For one reason or another they never made it into a full blog post. I hope it's not photo overload:) I know I might be just a little bit previous with my round up of the year (well, 8 months), it's just...I'm off to my mum and dad's for Christmas today, and I'm not sure when I'll be back to regular shooting and blogging and wotnot. (I am hoping to do some majeur sale hauling though, natch!). I feel like I've spent more time in hospital this year than anything else (with both my mum and my dad), but blogging has weirdly managed to keep me sane and help me through all the ups and downs (although, of course, it has its own stress factors too!). Hopefully, 2013 will be better :) Much love and festive fun to everyone out there, see you soon

Brown Sugar

If you say the words "brown corduroy" to someone, they're bound to run off very quickly in the other direction, possibly screaming. Pity the fule:) Coz. This. Brown. Cord. Dungaree. Dress. Is. Perfection. It deffo takes me back to being a kid, when Osh Kosh were the one. I've gone fully retro here and paired it with a polo neck, now all I need is a packet of 'Space Dust' as the perfect accessory :)
Speaking of things old skool did anyone watch 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' last night? I don't think a John Hughes film can be on tv and me not watch it. Every single scene is perfection.

Who's That Girl?

Recently, the lovely Vanessa from Smashion got in contact to ask me to be one of their featured bloggers. I was like, "WTF?" and then, "HELL YES!" I sound like such a gimp....but it's quite hard not to be a big ole' cheese sandwich when describing yourself. It's deffo a cringe-o-rama and a half! Anyways, check out the full interview HERE xx

English Apparel

I'd been searching for a neon beanie for absolutely ages, and was all ready to bite the bullet and splash the cash in American Apparel. On my way to Soho I did a quick little detour to Primark (mostly to look for 'Onesies' for Crimbo prezzies......classy me!), and...BOOM...there it was.....the perfect knitted hat for £2! I was extremeeeeely happy.....to the point where...I got a bit over-excited and also bought this skirt too :) It's got an amazing kind of embossed texture thing going on...it sort of looks like pleather, but is actually fabric. Anyways up...my sister has just got back from Milan (which she has declared the coldest place on earth), so I'm wayyyy excited to see her tonite....hope you have a lovely evening too! x

I Got Love For You, If You Were Born In The Eighties

It was instant love when I saw this velour studded cardigan. It's completely Eighties, all that's missing is a shoulder pad :) I wanted to put it with a nice pair of bleached ripped-up super-short shorts, but I don't possess such things (sad face) so I went for my go-to skater skirt instead. I reckon it's a realllly good alternative to a jacket, especially in the evening over a party dress. Hope your week is off to a rockin' start x
