All I Want For Christmas

I love giving presents, but I like self-gifting more. Ha! I mean- I know exactly what I want. (#yergetme). So in honour of that never-ending shopaholic's impulse I've put together some picks I'd like "Santa" to bestow upon me. (Or failing that, myself). Of course, these can also be potential prezzies for your lovely mum, sis, cuz or bezzie (#doublewin), so let's get choosing. First though, a quick mini summary of this outfit. It's comfy, it's cosy, it's ever so slightly Hygge and you can shop it below.
SHOP THE LOOK

Moving on to those all important (self) gifting ideas. Top of my list is always- and will always be- handbags. And Christmas is the ideal time to jump on a new one. Ain't gonna lie, I'm always drawn to a designer baby, but I've also found this amazing £11 bargain which is an exact copy of this super-beautiful original. Plus, there's this stunner that comes in just under that all important £300 mark. Shop my selection here-

If it's something I'm obsessed with at the moment it's graphic tees. Obvs, I'd love to find this Gucci beauty (even if errrrry top fash-ho has it) under the Christmas tree, but I'm more likely gonna have to save for it myself. Shop my fave picks here-

And, of course, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without stocking fillers. When I was a kid as long as I got some chocolate money and an Enid Blyton box set I was happy. These days I'm always unfeasibly excited by make-up, perfume and some nice bed socks (Where my grannies at?) Here's my fave bits and pieces-

Ruffles Done Two Ways

When I first spied this cute one-shouldered ruffle dress I was definitely a smitten kitten. Instantly I felt the cogs start to turn with potential outfits whizzing round my tiny mind. (Not a lot else going on in there, to be honest). First up- I wore it as nature intended- in dress-form. Then, I paired it my new H&M trackies (if I buy one more pair of side-stripe pants please feel free to confiscate my credit card from me). And thirdly- well- the thirdly is missing from this shoot- but you can deffo just tuck this baby into a denim mini and you will have created a stunning little top. (Brains here only thought of that after the event). Have you been embracing a ruffle of late? Let me know, catch you soon x

Tibi Dreams (Made Real By Lavish Alice)

On paper, pairing pink with camel shouldn't work. But Tibi have gone and done just that in their Resort '17 collection. Inspo struck me hard when I saw their tie-trouser and pink jumper combo, so much so, I instantly felt the urge to recreate that look. As luck would have it, these amazing Lavish Alice trousers were already in my collection (via MyUnidays which you deffo need to hit up for some incred discounts on all your fave brands). All I needed to complete the look was a candy-coloured knit, and again, luckily, I already had this beaut on my floordrobe (#notjoking #thefloorisnomore). How you feeling about colour-clashing? Lemmie know, catch you soon x

MISSGUIDED X HONEYBELLE PART TWO

So, here's summore of my amazing pieces from Missguided. First up, I have to say the quality is actually wayyyy better than I thought it was gonna be. I shouldn't have worried though, as I was super-impressed with the slides I bought a few weeks ago. I picked this satin-finish bomber in a light khaki shade as I've kinda overdosed on pink ones lately (Blogoverse: 'Haven't we all'). But my new favourite thing in the history of the world everrrrrr (#legitface) are these tie-front culottes. I basically live in culottes. I just find they make me feel thinner. (I mean, god only knows they repel men to the max, and that's something I can ill afford, but I think wearing things that make me feel skinnier- and that I like- just marginally squeezes out dressing in shizz in order to pull. If that makes any sense). Let me know what you think and keep an eye on my IG over the next few days for more Missguided pieces. Catch you soon x

The Perfect Grey Culottes

I'd been desperately searching for some grey culottes when a very fortuitous email came my way from Zelle Studio, and before too long these amazing wide-leg knitted trousers were in my life and on my legs. I'm on the stumpy side (at 5ft 5) so I rolled over the waist-band to get a nice ankle-gap situation happening, (but if you like a higher waist/are a touch taller/prefer a baggy top then you're laughing). The fabric is a nice substantial knit, and there's also a stunning pleated-detail woven in. I've also gotta give props to this darling pink bomber jacket which I heart with anything grey, and is deffo gonna be a useful cover-up all S/S on those inevitable cooler days. (Not too many, let's hope, *prayer hands*). Hit me up with your culottes thoughts, catch you soon x

Nicole Vienna x Me (And Some Alexa Thoughts)

It'll come as no surprise when I impart the following: I have mountains of clothes, gazillions of shoes and a helluva lot of handbags. My watch collection, however, is somewhat lagging behind. So I was very happy to be able to add this Nicole Vienna Black Mesh beauty into my wrist candy stash. Nicole Vienna is a newish Scandi brand and all the watches in their collection have beautiful black marble faces, which is deffo something I can get on board with. What you sayin'? Also, we need to talk Alexa. The eagle-eyed amongst you will have already clocked that I'm wearing the pink fluffy Myrtle jumper from her Archive x M&S collection. It looks so cute and cuddly, but unfortunately on me it clings like, well, a Stage 4 Clinger. Sad to say, none of the other pieces I swiped from the drop did much for me either. The culottes made me look fat (AKA fatter), the Harry blouse I just couldn't get on and the blazer wasn't happening either. I think if you are skinny and natural looking and you've got a bob (basically, if you're Alexa) then you're laughing. (In more ways than one, I'd imagine). How have you got on with her pieces? Let me know chicas x

Home Haul

I'd been meaning to go to Ikea for ages. But there was one big problem. (Brace yourselves for possibly the most unglamorous words a blogger has ever typed). And that is- here goes- the roadworks at Neasden. Fuck only knows what's going on at Neasden but in order to get to that big blue and yellow shop in Wembley I was going to have to sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic for quite a while. And as #anyfulekno there's liderally no point going to Ikea unless you go in a car. So I decided to brave it and was duly caught up in a ridiculously annoying traffic jam of epic proportions. To make matters worse, Radio 1 Xtra did not play a single grime tune for the whole journey, which darkened my mood considerably. When I did finally arrive however, I dived straight into the shop bit, and here's what I bought.
The Chair
I've been after a stark looking chair for a while. I love these Wire Eames Ones but I didn't want the budget to get outta hand, so luckily- as I was walking through the final bit of Ikea where all the flatpack furniture is- I spied a desk display. There was one single chair there and I liked what I saw. So I dismantled the display (#soznotsoz) and ran to the checkout to find that this baby was only five quid. A fiver! I know! And it was light, and folded up which meant it could go in the car boot and I didn't have to kill my back too much. Result.
The Picture Frame
I've been a Sealoe fangirl for sometime now, and I've had this 'Noir' print laying lifeless under the sofa, just begging to be framed. So now it's in its rightful home and looking beautifully minimal. Job Done.
The Fluffy Rug
I also picked up this fluffball of a rug for £10. It's got great grammability and in desperate moments I can also hug it. #doublewin
The Faux Plant
Ikea are genius at these, and I hauled two this time round. Given that I can kill a real plant with one stare, they are deffo the way forward for me.
The Vase
If you're a Att Pynta fan then you'll like the vibe of this vase. It reminds me a bit of a Dalek, but a very cool one. #dontexterminatemeplease
The Notebooks
I also pounced on these like a crazy ass mofo when I saw them. Again, I had IG in mind (just for a change) and these pastel beauts have got quite a bit of photo-mileage in them I reckon. (Can only find the stripey one on-line, apols).
The Cushion
No trip to Ikea is complete without a cushion purchase and I plumped (audible groan from the audience) for this jazzy one. Don't look at it for too long though as it'll make your eyes go funny. #trippy
The Light
I'm literally the dumbest girl in the entire universe so the prospect of actually having to construct something (even a lil' old desk lamp) left me in a 'I can't do it, wahhhh!' type of panic. But I went for it anyway. It took me four days to open the box (Easter kinda got in the way), and another two days to dare to look at the instructions. Several , 'What the fucks', 'But that doesn't make any senses' and 'It must be brokens' were uttered over the course of half an hour, but to my utter surprise, Rome got built. Nice Innit.
And Finally
I also did a micro-haul from The White Company, and bought these marble coasters (see Pic 2). I still pray  that one day, as I browse their catalogue I will magically be transported to the Narnia that is White Company Land where everything is clean and beautiful and lovely (tell me I'm not alone). How I Scored This Sold Out Shirt

When something's hot it's hot. Pink bomber jackets, fishnet ankle socks, anything Gucci; they're all having their moment. And when something sells-out at H&M and sweeps Instagram, but you don't have it in your life, drastic action- or at least karma- is required. We're talking: the big cuffed white shirt. And the randomness with which it came to be in my possession proves that shopping IRL is still basically where it's at. So, there I was scooting round H&M at Oxford Circus last Saturday. I had an appointment to get my hair did at 2.30pm so I couldn't shilly-shally. Pacing the third floor I wasn't really expecting to see owt to inflame my passions, let alone any big-cuffed beauts. But wait! O.M.G. There it was- the very shirt I was after- literally the only one on the rail. I grabbed at it, but was instantly crestfallen when I saw it was a Size 16. I'm all for oversizin', but it would've probably taken #bedsheetchic to hitherto unprecedented levels. So off I trudged when I thought, 'Sod it, maybe I'll try on that floral bomber just in case I heart it loads'. I grabbed said jacket and moved over to a mirror right by a rail of short-sleeved white shirts. Then I glanced at the rail. Could it be? Were the angels singing? One long-sleeved shirt was just slightly poking out from amongst the shorties. And HolyLuckyBitches- it had big cuffs and was a Size 10! Yassss. Wow. Shut The Front Door. And all manner of other less publishable words came tumbling out my mouth. And here is that hottie. Freaking perfect innit? If you've ever scored a sold-out item you'll know my joy. Catch you soon xx

The Lure Of Whistles

Whistles discount vouchers are rare creatures indeed. When they do drop, my Mumsy and I are like bats out of hell getting down to our local branch for some serious retailin'. I say serious. Mum normally spends big, while I usually end up with a t-shirt as that's all I can afford (even with a cheeky little 25% off). But this time when the Grazia voucher popped up I did something very silly. I took lots of clothes into the changing room. (Big Mistake. Huge). Being weak AF the inevitable happened......I purchased. Bardot tops were big last year (mostly thanks to Tibi) and they're seemingly still going strong for S/S 16. I went for this one, (yes, it's silly expensive for a cotton top), but this is super-cute (sort of regret not buying it actually), as is this. I also jumped on these culottes. Everything about them is heaven to me- from the LV-style zip, to the heavy fabric. (These ain't bad, mind you). I've paired my newbies with these incred velcro babies from H&M. If Acne Triple Los make your heart sing but your bank manager shudder then they are well worth considering. Naturally, I'm wondering where my brain cells are as I face my lack of dollar to see me through until the end of the month...but a girl cannot live by one off-the-shoulder-top alone. Do you find it difficult to say no in Whistles? What Spring purchase have you made thus far this year? Hit me up xx
