Red Alert

I hate skater skirts. Swear down :) This probably seems like a) an outright lie, and b) slightly over-dramatic. Honestly though, I'd be so happy if I never saw or wore another one in my whole life. Unfortunately though, when you don't have a black skort in your wardrobe, and you look and feel spectacularly fat 99% of the time, then, actually, a little flared mini can seem like the best option. I've got some lush ripped black shorts that I hauled about here but I don't think no MOFO wants to see my cellulite, so those will have to remain on stand-by for now. (Should one ever become magically skinny and tanned).
Onto this cute red top which I picked up in Primark recently, on one of my many forays there. It's got a nice sporty vibe and although in my head I wanted to pair it with my ripped skinnies, I have kinda blogged those to death (as well as almost everything else I own) so out came the skater skirt. Again. This look is so far from how I wanna dress I can't even tell you. But I got nada else to show and tell with at the minute so I hope this unsophisticated mess won't hurt your eyes too much :) Have a fab weekend, catch you soon xx

Wild At Heart

I keep getting drawn to mesh tees this summer, but the ones I reeeallly like (in Topshop) are a little too expensive. This is where Primark comes to the rescue. This sporty beaut was only £4 and deffo does a job. Ok, so it's a bit scratchy- and I probably should've gone for a Size 10 (not an 8) to get that requisite baggy shape- but all in all, I reckon it's a winner :) Hope your Wednesday is going sportingly well, catch you soon xx
PS Any thoughts on my new location? I'm luvin' it!! Forever I've been wanting a brick wall to shoot in front of...and although there's, like, a gazillion people walking past (#londonproblems) every two seconds, at least there's no cars - and double-bonus- the light is strangely good. Of course, several creepy men nosy buggers have stopped to ask what I'm up to- my fave being "Are you doing a college project?" Which is nearly as good as getting asked "Have you got a student card?" or "Can I see your ID?". Lolz :)

I Don't Care, I Love It

I'm not quite sure why but I'd never tried 'Joni' jeans on before in Topshop until I pounced on these heart-printed versions...but I have to say, I'm massively impressed. I'd kinda dismissed them as strictly for tall thin girls with lovely flat tummies (none of which apply to me) but, nevertheless, I successfully shoe-horned myself in a pair of Size 25s and I love 'em :) It takes a lot for anything to make me feel thin, but strangely these do. You know when a fabric contains your fat, rather than your flab filling the material? Well, that's what these do. I've been a devotee of 'Jamie' jeans for a while now, but these could deffo give 'em a run for their money. Have you tried on any Joni's? I'd love to know if they keep their shape...hit me up! Happy Monday lovelies xx
PS How difficult is it to get that 'I don't care I love it' song out your head when you've heard it? Ridick catchy innit....worse than #blurredlines.....I need my headspace free for 1D tunes..ha!

So Caught Up

Do you ever read 'Look' magazine and say to yourself "Ooooh I know her!" and then "I know her too!", only to turn the page and find yet more piccies of top blogger babes whose work you love? Yep....me too :) Most weeks it's like an A to Z of top bloggettes and their rather excellent looks. So, a few weeks back they did a feature on 'tying a knot in your skirt'. It sounded a bit like WTF at first, but the photos they showcased made the whole trend make perfect sense. Kookie at Death By Platforms and Katie at Little Winter were featured with very cool knots in their maxis, so, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm not 100% convinced that it came out nicely in my piccies, but when I looked in the mirror I thought it worked priddy well :) This year maxi skirts seem to be slashed right up to the thigh (which is a hot look, no denying) but if you're feeling a little less daring then this might be the trend for you. Have a lovely weekend...I'm off to do some damage in the Zara sale....wooop!....catch you soon xx

Mind Games

Ever since Ant and Dec were mere popstars me and my lovely sister have been using the word 'psyche'. (Hasn't everyone? Oh no, just us then). So, as well as being very excited about the 2013 revival of 'Let's Get Ready To Rumble' I was doubly-triply-super-over-psyched (ha!) about finding this t-shirt in Primark. Not only is it like, my fave word, ever, but it's also an excellent rip-off of the very lush (very sold-out, very expensive) Acne slogan tees for S/S13. I've paired it here with my ripped Jamies and my fake Westward Leaning shades, as well as my feet-shredding vixen Zara heels. If you have these ankle-strap beauts you'll know just how much they hurt! But as Frenchie from Grease once said "beauty is pain". Hope you're having a gorge hot sunny Wednesday, catch you soon xx
