Is there such a place as Skort Rehab? Coz I think I need to check myself in, pronto! I dunno what it is about these beauts that's got everyone in lust, but I just can't keep away :) This grey pinstripe version is pure heaven. I've found myself wondering just how many skorts Zara have sold this year. (Yeah, it is a riveting life I lead, you're not wrong). 50,000? 100,000? Quarter of a million? Maybe more? Whatever the number, as long as it's good for the Spanish economy, and good for avaricious fashionistas, then everyone's a winner!

How lovely is this baby that wandered into my shot? He was such a sweetie I wanted to scoop him up and take him home! And yet again I couldn't decide which hat to go with so I did a few piccies with both. (Does anybody need to be seeing my big aul booty? Hell to the probably not, so soz for that- it's just- you never see the back of a skort do you? Judging by this shot it's probably clear why! Red Alert

I hate skater skirts. Swear down :) This probably seems like a) an outright lie, and b) slightly over-dramatic. Honestly though, I'd be so happy if I never saw or wore another one in my whole life. Unfortunately though, when you don't have a black skort in your wardrobe, and you look and feel spectacularly fat 99% of the time, then, actually, a little flared mini can seem like the best option. I've got some lush ripped black shorts that I hauled about here but I don't think no MOFO wants to see my cellulite, so those will have to remain on stand-by for now. (Should one ever become magically skinny and tanned).

Onto this cute red top which I picked up in Primark recently, on one of my many forays there. It's got a nice sporty vibe and although in my head I wanted to pair it with my ripped skinnies, I have kinda blogged those to death (as well as almost everything else I own) so out came the skater skirt. Again. This look is so far from how I wanna dress I can't even tell you. But I got nada else to show and tell with at the minute so I hope this unsophisticated mess won't hurt your eyes too much :) Have a fab weekend, catch you soon xx

Skorting The Issue

So, after my little "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" moment last week, it's time to get back to bi'ness *Beyonce Face*. You'll undoubtedly have seen this skort everywhere recently. The white and black versions have rapidly become blogger faves in no time, so when I popped into Zara last week and spied the cobalt I thought I'd give it a whirl. I do dig a skort. Zara did a really excellent one last year which I pounced on (remember this?), and this newer one is also priddy ledge. It does however have a tendency to crinkle and crunkle though (I had to go for the small as that was all that was left, but I think an extra small may have stayed in place a bit better). This whole look is, admittedly, slightly let-down by my refusal to give up tights just yet...but as this week is predicted to get warmer, I may be forced into unleashing my pins onto an unsuspecting public. Poor sods :) Hope you had a lovely weekend..I had a fabulous Sunday lunch with my mummy yesterday, followed by a serious shop-a-thon in Victoria's Secret. Or should that be shop-a-thong? Soz :) I vow to try and give up bad jokes and tights as soon as!! Catch you soon! xx
