Buckle Up

I'm totally feeling high-waisted baggy trousers right now, and these buckle-detail ones from Zara ticked a few boxes for me, so I hauled 'em :) This look may be a bit of a Simon Cowell/Patrick Bergin out of Sleeping With The Enemy/Burglar mash-up but I'm kinda pleased with the way it turned out. Although....I did want to put a nice box-fresh pair of Adidas with these pantalons, but there is not a pair of Size 5 Stan Smiths to be had in the whole of Britain, seemingly. *Cry Face* So the New Balance have come out to play, again. Tis The Season

When did Christmas jumpers become a thing? I need a fashion archivist to help me out here :) Resistance to these things seems even more futile this year as they are everywhere. Personally, I'm feelin' 'em :) I picked up this fairly 'classic' version in H&M recently, although maybe I've gone slightly too literal on my festive colour theme here pairing it with my green New Balance. iHaul 2.0

I couldn't resist this shamaze check jumper in Topshop when I hit up Oxford Circus last weekend....all the while thinking and dreaming of this Stella Knit. It's kinda skimpy and not nearly oversized enough for me, but I'll shoot it nonetheless and see how the hell it turns out.

I've actually become a bit of a New Balance addict of late. If I could have 574s in every colour I think I would. These'll probably be the next in my shopping basket. They are ridick comfy and make me that much needed inch or two taller. I've also gone for this heavenly A/W 13 Essie colour 'Vested Interest'. It's perfect.

I also scooped up this top in Zara a couple of weeks back. It kinda puts me in mind of a Trapeze Bag. God, I crave a Trapeze like an Instagram Rich Kid. Phoebe is doing this colourway for S/S 14 so I'm feeling it might have some longevity.

And finally, who can resist burgundy? These Gap coated skinnies are my new go-to. Obvs, I'd love some Kate Bozzie x Topshop leathers or some Izzie x H&M side lace pants but I just got my gas bill and it wasn't a priddy sight. Furthermore, Topshop have changed their beanies this year, and I'mma have a hissy fit about this unfortunate development. Mostly coz the new ones are scratchy and pre-turned-up. Still, the shape is better than most and actually fits my fat swede. Get yours here.

Addiction

Is there such a place as Skort Rehab? Coz I think I need to check myself in, pronto! I dunno what it is about these beauts that's got everyone in lust, but I just can't keep away :) This grey pinstripe version is pure heaven. I've found myself wondering just how many skorts Zara have sold this year. (Yeah, it is a riveting life I lead, you're not wrong). 50,000? 100,000? Quarter of a million? Maybe more? Whatever the number, as long as it's good for the Spanish economy, and good for avaricious fashionistas, then everyone's a winner!

How lovely is this baby that wandered into my shot? He was such a sweetie I wanted to scoop him up and take him home! And yet again I couldn't decide which hat to go with so I did a few piccies with both. (Does anybody need to be seeing my big aul booty? Hell to the probably not, so soz for that- it's just- you never see the back of a skort do you? Judging by this shot it's probably clear why! Ruby Monday

Just when you thought you couldn't take anymore of this skort.....Zara have only gone and hit us up with a version in bright red. Big soz to those who are completely skorted out....but I couldn't resist :) I already have the cobalt- which I'm j'adoring- but I think I even love this one a tiny bit more. It goes with so many things it's cray. You wouldn't think it, but swear down, it does. Lots of love, happy skorting or anti-skorting (delete as appropriate), catch you soon xx

True Blue

 Fashionistas Beware! Cobalt Overload Alert! Until I put this outfit together I'd been avoiding wearing together two of my 'Most Worn' purchases of the season so far, namely: my New Balance trainers and my fave Topshop sweatshirt. I just thought they'd be too Matchy-Matchy. And not in a good way. But actually, I kinda like them as a combo. More and more I'm finding, I'll put together an outfit to blog thinking it'll look better in photos than in real life....only to find....I dig what I didn't think would work...and I can very happily incorporate that new mix of items into my wardrobe 'repetoire'. Hopefully that makes more sense than I think it does :)

Happy Feet

So, I couldn't wait :) I had to go to Office last night and start hitting up the joint with my Grazia voucher. I'd spied the 'Frontier' cut-out shoe boot when it first dropped, and had tried it on in a Size 4. Perfecto! I hearted it immediately but promised myself I'd wait for a voucher before I spent the cold hard stuff. I was also just a lil' bit desperate for some new sneaks, so being a fash-ho I decided to get some New Balance in my life. They deffo need trying on though (just in case you were thinking about going for it too)....the sizing is wayyyy off- I can only just squish into a Size 5 in the 574s (and not at all into the lower-profile 420s). I'm actually desperate to get these babies as well- they are too good- but I'm trying to not buy everything I see :)
