Le Skinny

So, I bought this skinny black neck-tie scarf thingy about a month ago. I thought it would greatly enhance  my entire floordrobe. I was wrong. It deffo doesn't go with everything, and as per, my ginger rats tails clash with it too. No matter. It'll probably look three thousand times better on you and totally Chloefy your life. Oh, and soz for the singular frame too. There were no good snaps from this shoot. Literally none. Zero. Zilch. Nada. (Including this one). And my computer's broken. Lucky I am not. Supersonic

It looks like I'm going to have to use the phrase "the perfect transitional piece" to describe this little khaki jackety-thrown-on-thingy. (Cringe! 50 Fashion Bingo points to me!) Since the remnants of the hurricane hit over the weekend, the temperature has dropped a few, and I found myself feeling very pleased that I'd bought this Gallagheresque beaut. (This gorge grey parka from Zara is a touch more substantial but has a similar vibe, man). I'm also so so so so in love with my Topshop denim mini, which I basically haven't taken off since I got it. (Cringe! 100 Persil Dodger points to me!) It deffo puts me in mind of Stella Mac's amazing skirt as seen on the stunning Irina. But...urgh...come back summer, I ain't finished witchoo yet bro :)

All The Young Dudes

When I was younger I was totally obsessed with A.P.C. I used to trot along to their little Notting Hill store and get myself all sorts of minimal pieces for that charmant, understated, Proto-Alexa look. Recently, I've been craving some vetements from there again, particularly given that I keep seeing two amazing bloggers- Trini and Lauren- wearing their clothes so beautifully. I was all set to buy a mariniere (best word ever, non?) and possibly a little skirt, when I had a lightbulb moment. Maybe I still had my original denim mini from back in the day, somewhere in the depths of my wardrobe? (Yes, I do actually have a 'Mini Skirt Pile', doesn't everyone? Oh, ok, just me then). Lo and behold, a quick rummage, and ZING, I found my APC skirt. What was even more amazing was that it still fitted- sort of :) I decided a shoot was deffo in order to celebrate, so I popped on my Cos jumper and these are the results. Out Of The Blue

I was feeling a little bit 'riviera' when I put this outfit together. In my head I'm Brigitte Bardot, supine on a sun lounger in St Trop, or draped across the top deck of a yacht, being all naturally skinny and languid. In reality I'm a short fat bird stuck in boiling London head to toe in Topshop. N'mind, the inspo lives on :)

I've always loved a stripe, ditto a denim mini so I was very happy to be striding about the mean streets of surburbia kitted-out in these cute lil' pieces....but, yes, I fully acknowledge I should probably be incorporating more Zero Noodles in my diet and less Magnums.
