Thin Red Line

Green is my favourite colour, but dark red runs it a very close second. (What no black? Well, obvs, that's high up there too, but let's talk colour for a second). Aside from being the bestest shade for Autumn (that's official!), it has so many freaking good names: burgundy, maroon, wine (we like wine), claret (we like claret too), merlot, shiraz.....hang on....we seem to have gone a little vinocentric here. Anyroad, you get the idea :) I currently find myself lusting after that burgundy suit from Topshop (sadly not in stock currently, but it looks a lot like this...oh wait...here's the trews), a maroon bomber from H&M (s'like this...although this green is deffo speaking to me...and I wanna flex that Glamour voucher badly) and, of course, the Acne Canada (yum yum, come to mama). So, back to Zara/reality. This jumper is literally the best thing ever. I'd love to be dropping 45 quid on all their various knits, but this little beaut suits me just fine at 20 of yer English. Job done, stick a fork in me. In retrospect, a skinny jean may have worked better here, but I do love these Girlfriends (even if they make me look like I've been on the pies AKA Lemon Polenta Cake from Melrose & Morgan). Catch you soon dolls xx PS Face. Lolz. Soz.

The It Knit

You've doubtless seen this skinny knit all over the blogosphere recently, and with good reason. It is the dopest, bestest, sickest jumper of the season. (So far that is. Zara are too insanely good at knitwear and I'm sure they've got a lot more incred pieces for us to come yet). The ideal thing to wear with it is the matchy-matchy pants for that full-on CĂ©line look- which, I have to confess, I have bought too :) I didn't shoot them here though as it was wayyyy too hot, and I also wanted to give my newish jeans a bit of a run-out. These beauts are a dupe of the Made In Heaven Phoebe, which I've always wanted but could never afford. So, thanks Topshop (as per). Unfortunately, the knit is sooo skinny that it clings to every roll of fat that's being pushed out the top of the aforementioned newish jeans, so soz for making you witness that. I also have to apologize for the plethora of crossed-arm shots in this shoot. I totally wore the wrong bra, so them fings were dragging on the ground like a neanderthal man's knuckles. Next time I will be a triumph of support, Spanx and matchy-matchyness. Catch you soon xx

School's Out

So, I hadn't been down to my fave lil' leafy pathway to shoot any looks since The Big Storm hit t'other weekend. But.Oh.Thor.You.Crazy.Biatch look what I saw when I got there......
I know this is a fashion blog and we're supposed to be looking at lovely outfit shots (yeah right!), but this is one MOFO of a tree and it is now no more. So I thought I'd just mourn its passing with you. It took out a wall and a fence (as you can see) and was just such an immensely shocking sight. So, RIP Mr Tree. *Momentary Sad Face*
Onto this OOTD then. *Happy Shallow Face* I picked up this lovely chunky sweater in Zara and just hoped it wouldn't be that itchy. It's actually one of those that gets less scratchy and less annoying the more you wear it, so I'mma stick with it :) I have to say...I've always loved school uniform...not in a Britney kinda way....but I remember having to go to the school outfitters at the beginning of every term and just l.o.v.i.n.g. it. We had to wear a mini kilt for netball and if it was cold we were allowed to wear our navy jumpers (over our aertex tops).....so this is a very trip-back-in-time kinda look for me. I guess we all kinda wear uniforms in our daily lives, even when we don't have to. For me....it's skinny jeans and sweatshirts....admittedly, it's mostly just evolved from me being supremely lazy, but at the same time I really love the utilitarianess of it all. You know, like, Michael Kors- or maybe it's Giorgio Armani- only ever wearing white tees and navy trousers. Rain or shine. I like that. School's out forever...hit me baby one more time :) Catch you soon xx
P.S. The results from the brain scan came in...and....they found one :) Even weirder still- the neurologist said it looked verrry normal. Wonders never cease :)

Swiss Miss

I'd been deciding whether to buy this jumper for a few weeks when I saw the lovely Charlotte Fashion Guitar had purchased it, so being her Number One Fangirl I duly followed :) (Seriously though, if there is a more perfect, stunningly stylish, beautifully-bumped preggers laydee on the whole planet I've yet to see her). Luckily this sweater has got no angora and no mohair- result! (Like, who can be dealing with that shit? The very second I try anything on with those two made-by-the-devil yarns I have to take them off straight a-freakin-way, y'know?) I've styled this ultra-boringly (quelle surprise) and I'll be wearing it even more pedestrianly (is that a word?) with skinnies all winter long. If only I could be a bit more Charlottesque :) Much love, catch you soon xx
