Miss Grey

When I first spied this beaut of a coat I knew it had to be mine. Question was....could I come up with the dollar? Not so much (literally), initially. But after taking back a pair of glasses I bought and cutting back on any other "it's only £30 I might as well get it" kinda purchases....and with a lovely headwind (AKA a sale preview discount code) me and it were as one. Annnnd....I've worn it to death. Already. It goes with everything and I admittedly feel quite smug when I see every other fucker going by in a black puffer. (Pity The Fule). Even if it is Moncler. Fickle Fifi as I am I know, however, I will soon be bored and onto summink else without which I.Will.Die. Speaking of which, have you browsed any Isabel Marant new season? I must own this, these and especially these. Although, if you're still in the market for a grey coat this is dope. Catch you soon x

Whiter Shade Of Pale

So, while I was out and about searching for- you guessed it- a camel coat, I spied this lovely oversized beige alternative in River Island, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. It's actually more of a vanilla latte kinda colour than the pictures show but you can get an idea of the true shade from the linky. (Why is it either pissing down with the rain at the minute or streaming with bright low-level sunshine? God, my love, this is totes inconvenient to bloggers, could you sort it? Thanx, love B). But....wait...Stop.Everything. I've just seen this stunner on the RI website. Oh Lordy, I think this is The One. I feel a swap coming on :)

A Very Berry Christmas

How cute is the little coat from H&M? It's got a nice textured finish and pings my lust for all things dark red. I actually bought it with a voucher *No Surprises There Face* so it worked out stupidly cheap. Yay! I've just paired it here with my go-to Jamies and ankle boots....it's kinda safe.....kinda boring....but that is how I roll :) Hope your week is going berry well (cringe). Laters chicks xx

Bonnie And Clyde

Don't me and my boyfriend coat look happy together? It was love at first sight :) Here's the story of how we met......

So, a few weeks back, shockingly, I happened to win 'Star Style Of The Week' on Today I'm Wearing. Tripping to infintity and beyond doesn't even begin to describe how excited I was. Mostly, you know, for the props...but also coz I won £100 worth of Topshop vouchers :) How can anything be more incred than that? (With the possible exception of going to see 1D at Wembley next year). It can't, you're right. So, after some minor trials and tribulations at TIW HQ, the lovely letter containing the vouchers finally arrived at my flat. (What is it with people that say 'apartment'?). Or rather.....the card to say the vouchers were down at the Post Office sorting office arrived. Oh postie, you big tease. 

So, off I went.....and there, in front of me in the queue was that dastardly love-rat Tom Ellis. Y'know- the one who cheated on his wifey Tamzin Outhwaite recently. He was terribly tall and really quite fit. Just sayin'. Anyroad....buzz, buzz, buzzin' was I to finally be able to go shopping with my loaded card. Except. I've been so so so ill these last few weeks I really haven't been able to do much of anything. Mostly I'm scared of fainting. Not a good look on Oxford Street, to be fair. But fashion avarice spurred me on do a very quick shop one night last week.....and I am now the proud owner of the Best.Coat.Ever. God only knows there are a gazillion shamazeballs coats out there this season, but this one is definitively IT. You've probably seen it in Toppers, but I really can't recommend it enough. Get yours here. Have a lush weekend, I'm off for a brain scan on Monday......hopefully they'll find one :)

Little Monster

If there's such a thing as Cookie Monster chic, then this look probably goes some way towards it :) I actually made a big mistake in getting this coat in a Size 6. Like, duh. It was just the Size 8 seemed to swamp me, but it deffo needed to be over-sized to translate better in piccies I reckon, so any further coat purchases will now conform to that dictat. Anyway, innit cute and fluffy? It's actually been so so warm in London over the last week or two that wearing any kinda coat has been totally unnecessary, but it looks like autumn is finally here....so, outer-garms are now required. Are youse jumping on the coat hype this season? Lemmie know your thoughts :) Laterz Chicks xx

Grey Area

I think we can safely declare, without fear of contradiction, that the hottest item this season is The Coat. They are everywhere, and in a mahoosive array of colours. Sooooo......why the bejeesus am I wearing a boring auld grey one? Well, coz a) I love this coat and b) I haven't decided 100% which pink one I want yet. (I have actually bought a lovely powder blue one, so eyes peeled for that in the near future). But yeah, this coat. It's two years old, it's from H&M and it was £30. Swear down :) I've always meant to change the buttons on it as they're super-cheap and plasticky looking, but I've never got around to it. (I learned that lil' trick from one of my former editors...she used to make these grand Diana Vreelandish proclamations about fashion- "Darling, just change the buttons for Versace!"- she thought she was eminently quotable.....she wasn't. Still, it's a good tip nonetheless). Anyhoo, even thought coats are less Crombie-ish this A/W and more Cocoon-ish I still think this doll is ace. Oh, and I've finally managed to find one of these arrow bangle thingies that don't completely lacerate your wrists. The ones in H&M are pure evil and hurt like a bitch. This beaut is thinner, and bendy and doesn't like, slash your wrists when you try and put it on. Always a bonus :) Catch you soon, Love.U.Bye. xx
