Belt Up

There's a lot of belted coat action going down in the blogosphere right now, so I decided to leap right in and join the fray. All of a sudden it looks a bit fresher, dontcha think? Being both a) lazy and b) skint I decided to grab an old belt (in this case one from Comptoir Des Cotonniers), add in a Topshop coat (also old) and see what the hell happened. Annnnddd....I reckon it worked out kinda okay. I'm now thinking something new and pre-belted might be my next port of call. Speaking of new, these pinstripe trews are fresh onto the floordrobe. They've got a nice kick to them and I'm liking the cropped element as well. Are you investing in any belted pieces this SS15? Hit me up and lemmie know :) xx

At Last, My Love Has Come Along

I've been searching for a while now for the perfect pink coat.....and finally, me and it are as one. I actually scooped this beaut up off the sale rail in Topshop on Saturday for a mere £65. I know! It's lightweight (I can't be dealing with a heavy coat, can you?), a great length and such a beautiful shade of candy pink. I'm so so so so happy with it, that Santa himself is gonna struggz to top it :) Catch you soon xx

Don't me and my boyfriend coat look happy together? It was love at first sight :) Here's the story of how we met......

So, a few weeks back, shockingly, I happened to win 'Star Style Of The Week' on Today I'm Wearing. Tripping to infintity and beyond doesn't even begin to describe how excited I was. Mostly, you know, for the props...but also coz I won £100 worth of Topshop vouchers :) How can anything be more incred than that? (With the possible exception of going to see 1D at Wembley next year). It can't, you're right. So, after some minor trials and tribulations at TIW HQ, the lovely letter containing the vouchers finally arrived at my flat. (What is it with people that say 'apartment'?). Or rather.....the card to say the vouchers were down at the Post Office sorting office arrived. Oh postie, you big tease. 

So, off I went.....and there, in front of me in the queue was that dastardly love-rat Tom Ellis. Y'know- the one who cheated on his wifey Tamzin Outhwaite recently. He was terribly tall and really quite fit. Just sayin'. Anyroad....buzz, buzz, buzzin' was I to finally be able to go shopping with my loaded card. Except. I've been so so so ill these last few weeks I really haven't been able to do much of anything. Mostly I'm scared of fainting. Not a good look on Oxford Street, to be fair. But fashion avarice spurred me on do a very quick shop one night last week.....and I am now the proud owner of the Best.Coat.Ever. God only knows there are a gazillion shamazeballs coats out there this season, but this one is definitively IT. You've probably seen it in Toppers, but I really can't recommend it enough. Get yours here. Have a lush weekend, I'm off for a brain scan on Monday......hopefully they'll find one :)

Little Monster

If there's such a thing as Cookie Monster chic, then this look probably goes some way towards it :) I actually made a big mistake in getting this coat in a Size 6. Like, duh. It was just the Size 8 seemed to swamp me, but it deffo needed to be over-sized to translate better in piccies I reckon, so any further coat purchases will now conform to that dictat. Anyway, innit cute and fluffy? It's actually been so so warm in London over the last week or two that wearing any kinda coat has been totally unnecessary, but it looks like autumn is finally here....so, outer-garms are now required. Are youse jumping on the coat hype this season? Lemmie know your thoughts :) Laterz Chicks xx
