Borderline

I bought this excellent stripey shirt a while back after having seen it on the uber-minimalist ledge that is Stevie Rose Ray. I was thinking I could tuck. But no. I is wayyyy too fat for that kinda shizzle (as you'll see from the half-tuck pics that have snuck into this post. Is it only me that shoots a hundred frames only to discover that ninety of 'em look complete balls?) 

Anyroad, the shirt is lovely and silky and floaty and I deffo don't have owt else like it on the floordrobe. Honest :) And yep, I did a little shoe change mid-sesh. Sadly, I don't think the mules make me look any thinner. (That was the hopeful logic behind their appearance). Swear down, if I told you what I eat you'd say "Buh? You should be 7 stone FFS!" Burgundy Blues

You know when you shoot a look and your face looks uglier than a very ugly thing, in like, every freaking frame? Well, this happens to me most weeks. But when I snapped these shamazing culottes, the visage was looking even worse than usual, so I've basically had to chop my head off in most of these pics. I'd apologize, but I'm sure you're as relieved as I am :) So, back to the culottes. They are sick. And we deffo don't want no minging face detracting from their incred, inherent beautness. I also took my Man Gav out to shoot for the first time- I was getting myself in a right tizz that I'd wreck it- as trying to take photos is always treacherous in terms of- scratching stuff, breaking stuff, dropping stuff, losing stuff. You name it, it goes wrong. And finally, I have to give bare props to my new Catarzi fedora. These hats are simply the bomb dot com. Catch you soon xx

Supersonic

It looks like I'm going to have to use the phrase "the perfect transitional piece" to describe this little khaki jackety-thrown-on-thingy. (Cringe! 50 Fashion Bingo points to me!) Since the remnants of the hurricane hit over the weekend, the temperature has dropped a few, and I found myself feeling very pleased that I'd bought this Gallagheresque beaut. (This gorge grey parka from Zara is a touch more substantial but has a similar vibe, man). I'm also so so so so in love with my Topshop denim mini, which I basically haven't taken off since I got it. (Cringe! 100 Persil Dodger points to me!) It deffo puts me in mind of Stella Mac's amazing skirt as seen on the stunning Irina. But...urgh...come back summer, I ain't finished witchoo yet bro :)

Can't Touch This

I managed to pick up these baggy trews in H&M recently for twelve of your English pounds. I know! They were the only ones left on the rail and were marked at half price, so I was like, "''Avin 'em!". They are probably a touch on the large side for me but I'm in an MC Hammer kinda mood, so there you go. My bomber jacket is also new and is fab for the weather right now, as it's lightweight. You found any bargains recently? Lemmie know :) xx

Je Suis Anglais

Most of the time I wish I was French. I love eating their food, listening to them chattarge and- most of all- I adore wearing their clothes. I actually live within spitting distance of a Sandro, a Maje, a Comptoir, a Petit Bateau, a Kooples and a Claudie Pierlot. Incroyable. Which makes for an unhappy purse, but a very happy moi. At the moment I particularly can't get enough of a Breton stripe. (You may have noticed). My wardrobe has always been stuffed to bursting point with stripey tops, dresses and tank tops but imagine my excitement when I found this little beaut in H&M recently. Not only is it tres magnifique, but for some reason it was reduced to £7. Double win. I also picked up some new boyfriend jeans when I was in H&M (still working that Glamour voucher discount to the max), and some gorge little slides from Topshop to complete the look. You feelin' stripes this S/S14? Lemmie know! xx
