Honeybelle x Lee

Like most of us, I'm obsessed with denim, and pretty much wear it 24/7/365. So when Lee hit me up recently to style some of their range I was all over it. The first pieces I picked were the classic Rider Jackets. The black one I paired with my fave Adidas trackpants and the blue I teamed with these amazing cream kick flares from Zara (similar designer ones here or cheaper versions here). For jeans I went for the Scarlett Cropped Skinny (in black) which have a useful ankle-zip which you can dial up or down according to your mood or outfit or both. I also chose the Elly Slim Straight Jeans to style. These are what I call a 'proper' pair of jeans- they hold you in (deffo necessary in my case) but are still comfy, I put them with this cute long sleeved tee from Olive & Frank (similar here) and a pair of Vans.
SHOP THE LOOK

I also recently bought this incred H&M drawstring top which I wore with my final jeans choice the Scarlett High Waist Skinny. These skinnies are literally the most comfortable jeans everrrrr. You know the way most skinnies start to cut off your circulation after a couple of hours (or a big lunch, lolz)? Well, these don't- #winning. What are your fave jeans RN? And which of these looks are you feeling? (If any!) Lemmie know, catch you soon x

Borderline

I bought this excellent stripey shirt a while back after having seen it on the uber-minimalist ledge that is Stevie Rose Ray. I was thinking I could tuck. But no. I is wayyyy too fat for that kinda shizzle (as you'll see from the half-tuck pics that have snuck into this post. Is it only me that shoots a hundred frames only to discover that ninety of 'em look complete balls?)
Anyroad, the shirt is lovely and silky and floaty and I deffo don't have owt else like it on the floordrobe. Honest :) And yep, I did a little shoe change mid-sesh. Sadly, I don't think the mules make me look any thinner. (That was the hopeful logic behind their appearance). Swear down, if I told you what I eat you'd say "Buh? You should be 7 stone FFS!" And I'd have to agree :) Catch you soon xx PS I'm in love with Alex Pettyfer. That is all.

The Sequel

There's not many times in life where you experience a win-win, is there? But this very shizzle happened to me last week. Win 1: SoInFashion sent me this ace little top. It's simply ledge for working into any old mono-look you've got in mind. And, Win 2: the courier that delivered it was, like, smokin' hot. Naturally, I looked like a basic-ass bitch when I answered the door. (Why does that always happen?) So, thank-you SoInFashion, twice over :) You may recall a few weeks back I bought this H&M duster coat in the navy. But somehow I wasn't loving it on me (probably lots to do with my shoot coming out a bit disastrously). However, the black was luring me in like a pie-lover to Greggs. So, I went for it. And I dig it a lot more. Hope all is well in your world, catch you soon xx PS Soz about the fat legs and the jeans straining at the seams, not a good look, I do realise. Yours, A Pie-Lover.

I'd Rather Jack

So, this shoot did not go according to plan. I'd been longing for one of these duster coats that so many bloggers seem to have embraced recently. But when push came to shove, it didn't really do much for me. Especially as I decided to style it with a hat. Big mistake. Huge. It's deffo a case of no hat required with this look. But...I hate my hair too much to go hatless. And I hate my face too much to sunglassesless. Hence I'm in a state of constant hiding. So, somehow, I came out looking a bit like Mick Fleetwood. And I can't really say he's one of my style icons. Stevie Nicks...different story. The voice! The hair! The song-writing ability! The drama! The amazing witchy clothes (yep, they appeal even to a minimalist like me). Mick, not so much. If one thing salvaged this shoot though..it's the mules. Yeah, I know everybody's got 'em, but I love 'em. So let's thank Zara for that. (Not that we can really blame H&M for my lack of styling ability vis-a-via the coat, it's actually ledge, and like, silly cheap too). Hopefully my next shoot will be a triumph of hat-free bravery and looking up-ness. In the meantime, if you've got any duster coat or mule thoughts, lemmie know xx
