Chanel Friday

When I use my Boots points I like to treat myself. And treat myself I did with these new little Chanel goodies :) All three new season nail colours are floating my boat but I went for the shade Orage which is a deep dark inky bluey grey. I also bought a Rouge Coco Shine in the shade Intime, which is a super soft sheer pink. I am tres contente. Catch you soon xx

I Should Coco

Like most fashion addicts, I have a severe longing for some Chanel espadrilles. My brain is basically fried with interlocking CC lust. (No change there, then). So when I spied these Topshop espies I was buzzing. I know, realistically, I'm never gonna have a spare £500 to splash on the real thing, and these lovely little dupes definitely go some way to scratching that particular itch. They were out for stock for a while, and it looks like they're getting snapped up quickly again, so get 'em on pronto :) Catch you soon (Easter) chicks xx

Starry Eyed

My exhausting search for some Stan Smiths *Headless Fashion Sheep/Chicken Alert* has left me white trainerless....up until now. I decided to go for a pair of Superstars in the meantime to scratch that little itch. And, I love them. Back in the day, I had a pair of Stans and a pair of Shell-Toes, both with reallly fat laces. I'm sure they must be under my bed somewhere (along with about two hundred other pairs of shoes I can't be arsed to rummage through). Anyway, box-fresh is so much nicer, innit. *Gangsta Face*
So, what does everybody think of Porter? I just kinda thought it was like Harpers 2.0. Not surprising really, given that Lucy Y is at the helm. It is deffo incredibly slick....but for me...it's just a bit....static. A touch, corporate maybe? It's bound to get better. Anyone remember Grazia when it started? They used to put six month old pap pictures on the cover. Quelle Horreur. And the horoscopes were at the front (of book...as we say in The Bizz). I'll buy it again, no diggity, but then again, I am The World's Biggest Magazine Addict.
Oh, and you might have noticed....I've bought a new nail polish. Appaz, 'Charivari' means loud noisy folk music, and it was also the name of a nineteenth century French satirical newspaper. How it sums up this lush deep plum colour I'm not quite sure, but it's heaven, so whatevs. If you've got any white sneaks/magazine/polish thoughts hit me up. Laterz chicks xx

Tote Amaze

I've been meaning to do a 'What's In My Handbag' post forever, and as a result of the relentless rain making it impossible to shoot outside this week, that post has finally arrived :) The question is.....why is poking your nose into someone's bag so ludicrously fascinating? I have zero clue. All I know is these posts are basically my favourite in the whole freaking blogosphere. So let's get stuck in.
1.Miu Miu
Everything and more fits in this beaut shopper. I heart it to infinity and beyond.
2.Nars
Pressed Powder is a life-saver. I'm forever having to deshine (ugggh) and this is the best.
3.Benefit
Dandelion Lipgloss is a bit of pale pink heaven. This mini size was actually a freebie, which makes me love it even more :)
4.Chanel
Blue Boy is probably my fave nail polish of all-time. And you never know when a chip (diddy chip) is gonna make an appearance, do you?
5.My Boys
Never go anywhere without them. Fact. How sick is this whole album? And yes, I do actually still buy CDs. I know, I'm like, some sort of major weirdo. #1D #Ziam
6.Fracas
Almost too perfect to describe. It's so heady and divine. If you like gardenia, and you like tuberose you'll love this. Plus this little handy rollerball is totes portable. Winning.
7.Some Rings
From H&M. Just to make the picture priddy :)
8.L'Occitane
Fleur Cherie Handcream is beautifully floral and orange blossomy. And it's super rich for dry skinned bitches such as I.
9.RayBan
Wayfarers. Don't really need to say much do I? These are literally your forever sunglasses.
10.Company
is generally sick. But it's like realllly sick this month. They've gone a bit French. I just gobbled it up in one sitting. Tres Bon.

Back To Basics

Even though last week was beyond super-expensive, it hasn't stopped me shopping *Guilty Face* My latest acquisitions are a little bit....*gasp*...practical, so I hope this post doesn't send you to sleep too much :) Buying basics isn't the most exciting shopping there is, but you know it needs to get done.
So...first up...a simple white sleeveless shirt from Zara. This pure beaut will see me through the whole summer. I also went for some nice mashed-up shorts when I was in there- which I can see going with all my recent shoe purchases. Speaking of shoes, these H&M pointy loafers are excellent. They fit really nicely, and they're leather. Sold!
Secondly, another pair of shorts. It's probably a little cray to buy these during the coldest spring week in history, but that Glamour voucher needed flexing :) The sunnies remind me a bit of Chanel, so I went with them. They'll deffo perk up a more lady-like outfit (should I ever wear such a thing!).
Thirdly, I couldn't resist these dotty-print jeggings. They fit like a glove, although I'm not quite sure yet what might go nicely with them.
Finally, some boyfriend jeans from Gap. (How freaking good was their sale thing this weekend? It was so cheap my head was spinning. Although, obvs, their price-points could use a little adjusting in the first instance!). And I've also gone for three of your finest Topshop vest tees. Most summers Topshop do a tee I die for, so I tend to buy them in a few colours and wear them to death. Hopefully these will be no exception. Much love, catch you soon xx

Chanel After Coco

Did you see the amaze film 'Coco Before Chanel'? I love watching French fillums and trying to understand them without reading the subtitles (yeah, right!). And isn't Marion Cotillard a doll? No-one wears Dior (ironically) comme her.
I've actually been wondering what Coco would make of the recent bastardizations of her logo that seem to be adorning many a blogger's tee these days. Would she hate or tolerate? Hate, I'm guessing. Kasier Karl has said that he's positively sure that she'd despise lots of what he does...so....that's alright then :)
If you're craving a similar tee check out Studded Petals here.
Have a lovely weekend, fingers crossed it doesn't snow!

So, here's some lovely stuff I've been buying. I know I'm a little late to the whole 'Melting Chanel' thing but this tee was well cheap so I happily jumped on the bandwagon. I decided my pleather bomber was a touch Tulisa (gah!) so I changed it for your standard-issue tuff gal nylon classic instead. Also on the jacket-front, I did't think I could live a moment longer without a baseball jacket in my life and this Topshop one is excellent. (It's actually more of a heavy duty cardigan, but I'm digging that). And I've also added another pair of Jamie jeans to my world too....I already have, erm, several pairs and I love 'em like a fat kid loves cake.
(Quite frankly I may well qualify for fat kid status myself shortly if I carry on munching away on scones and teacakes the way I seem to be).
The acid-wash mini is just pure heaven and is calling out for a bare leg like a MOFO. It's still way too cold for any of that just yet. (Hurry up and make it warm pleeeeze). You may have just noticed that I've also gone a lil cray-cray for a printed trooser here. But, what's not to like? All of these fit nicely and are such bargains, it's ridick. So I bought three pairs. Ooops :)
Check out my JW Anderson badge!!! I can't afford any of his new collection x Topshop but I managed to get my little token trophy collectable at the cashdesk...for freeeee! Woo!
And lastly, I don't think you're gonna find better than this Zara clutch...and it's got a freakin' shoulder strap. Too good.
Much love, bring on 1D @ The Brits tonight :)
