Hard Habit To Break

So.....it's warmed up.....the weather is lookin' mighty fine....and I'm still wearing a beanie. Ooops. Can't help it. I feel kinda naked without the bastard thing on me heed. SozNotSoz. However....half-way through this shoot I thought I better dip my toe into beanieless waters- and I swapped out my perma-knitted-headwear for- a fedora. I know, hardly ground-breaking. But, I'mma go in babysteps:) Honestly, if I didn't hate my dumb-ass hair so much I wouldn't bother. Anyroad, I must just quickly give severe, intense and majeur props to these jeans. They are ridick and phenom, in the sense of, they are probably the best jeans I've ever owned. There I was wandering round H&M, like a Wordsworthian cloud, telling myself 'Don't buy any jeans, don't buy any jeans', but being the sort of person who doesn't like to be told what to do (even by myself- go figure)- I bought some jeans. And, I love them. So that's fine then. And these slip-ons are insanely comfy, and I know every blogger had got 'em, but they are too good not to purchase. Both of these two together came to summink like £33 (with the Glamour discount card thingy). JD. (That's job done btw, nothing to do with a certain sports shop, or indeed, Jermaine Defoe). iHaul 2.0

I couldn't resist this shamaze check jumper in Topshop when I hit up Oxford Circus last weekend....all the while thinking and dreaming of this Stella Knit. It's kinda skimpy and not nearly oversized enough for me, but I'll shoot it nonetheless and see how the hell it turns out.

I've actually become a bit of a New Balance addict of late. If I could have 574s in every colour I think I would. These'll probably be the next in my shopping basket. They are ridick comfy and make me that much needed inch or two taller. I've also gone for this heavenly A/W 13 Essie colour 'Vested Interest'. It's perfect.

I also scooped up this top in Zara a couple of weeks back. It kinda puts me in mind of a Trapeze Bag. God, I crave a Trapeze like an Instagram Rich Kid. Phoebe is doing this colourway for S/S 14 so I'm feeling it might have some longevity.

And finally, who can resist burgundy? These Gap coated skinnies are my new go-to. Obvs, I'd love some Kate Bozzie x Topshop leathers or some Izzie x H&M side lace pants but I just got my gas bill and it wasn't a priddy sight. Furthermore, Topshop have changed their beanies this year, and I'mma have a hissy fit about this unfortunate development. Mostly coz the new ones are scratchy and pre-turned-up. Still, the shape is better than most and actually fits my fat swede. Get yours here.

White Lines (Don't Do It)

So, here's some lovely new hauls, plus some lil' outfit ideas that are swirling round in my tiny mind at the minute. It's pretty impossible to avoid monochrome right now (I don't think Zara have anything other than black and white in store) and I'm going with it, big time. 

I'm loving jolts of colour too, and I've gone for a cobalt blue here, in the form of one of those lovely waffle Topshop jumpers (yes, another one!) and this divine A-line mini. I'm needing a white shoe to set these beauts off, like a desperado :)

You'll spy some nail art pens here (my first) and I tried them out yesterday in a shockingly useless attempt that can only be described as a massive fail. I'm truly rubbish at this game, and am in total awe of all the amazing nail girlz out there.
