Heating Up

Shall we just fast forward into summer? Yes! Let's! You've probably seen these Eleven Paris tees around, but I say if in doubt go with Mossy. I love the utilitarianess of an Adilette Slide, don't you? They won't leave my feet in hotter weather (apart from when I wear my seven other pairs of slides- ha!). Being a hard-core sunglasses addict I'm finding it tough to resist these lil' cuties from Monki (their prices are sick too). J Brand are still the dons when it comes to denim (if you ask me) and although these shorts are silly expensive, a girl can dream, right? And, oh my goodness, just douse me in Mary Greenwell perfume and call me fragrant. Bring on the heat. Forreallzz.

Mr and Mrs Smith

So, finally, a couple of weeks back I managed to find some Stan Smiths in a Size 5. Let's have a partay! I've been wearing them to death (obvs), but as is the way with me, I've now got my eye on some Air Force 1s. Can I possibly justify having three pairs of white sneaks? (Bank Manager: Hell To The No). I also recently picked up this little Breton dress in Zara. Talk about easy peasy breezy Summer wear. Heaven innit :) I couldn't resist these sunnies in And Other Stories either. That place just blows my mind in so many ways.
(Cheaper than Topshop sunnies too. Just sayin'). What new season purchases have you been making recently? Lemmie know :) xx

It's Like You're My Mirror

I love sunglasses. You may have noticed :) They're good for hiding behind, and very good for upping your cool quotient. Mirrored ones particularly seem to be having a lil' moment this S/S, so when I saw these beauts in H&M I pounced. My sis was over in LA recently searching (amongst other things) for some Westward Leaning ones- they are priddy much the daddy of all mirrored shades. Sadly, after a foray to Fred Segal on Melrose she came away empty-handed. Opening Ceremony was her next shopping target, but her trip was only brief so she never made it. We're gonna hit-up the one in Covent Garden instead to try and track them down.
You'll probably have seen lots of bloggers in ZeroUV shades and I'm deffo lusting after most of their range, even though my sunglasses drawer is now full and won't close. *Shopaholic Face*.
I thought I'd try and combine an OOTD with these new shades....and although I'm not prone to carrying around copies of magazines- I thought I'd just give a shout out to the new Miss Vogue. How.Freakin. Good.Iz.It? Like a cooler, chicer Company...that's how good. Oh, and....about three months after the event I've finally got into Justin Trousersnake's 'Mirrors'. Siiiiick song. And while we're touching on music....OMG...1D's new tour announcement yesterday left me weeping with excitement....not joking! Next Saturday is gonna be stress-central trying to get some tickets...but I'm battle-ready :)
Have a lush weekend xx

Swag

So, I just wanted to jump straight in and show youse what I've been splashing the cash on. Apologies in advance as there's probably wayyyy too much stuff here for one post, but I'm a bit over excited and wanted to share :)
First up: I've jumped on the Homies hype. *Predictable Face* This Brian Lichtenberg dupe is priddy good. If you haven't checked out his stuff have a lil' looksee here.
Second up: I got bare bare love for my white stilettos. Ok, so they're plastic. But they were literally the last pair in the shop....and they happened to be Size 5. Score! So, I scooped them up like a ninja.
Third up: Some flatform plimmies. I've been craving these big time and had to search several Topshops for a Size 4 (as Size 5 was comin' up welllll roomy) so I was buzzing to finally find them. (I'm still craving these bad boys but again, there's a lil' sizing issue- Size 4 is a bit small, Size 5 too big so I'm telling myself I can't get them...will it work? Hell to the probably not!).
Fourth up: A fake Ahhh-Bra from Primark. It's actually really strong fabric....I'm super-impressed, and I'll deffo be going for this in a few different colours. And, yeah, I slipped a pair of mirrored round sunnies into my Primark basket. At £2 it would've been silly not to.
Fifth up: I had zero intention of buying these zippy trousers. My mum actually had her eye on them, and since she had declared she was feeling well enough to shop and wanted to 'rejoin the land of the living', we decided to hit up Zara. We both tried them on, and...whadyaknow....we both loved them. They are such an excellent fit, it's insania. By the way- I'm looking to pair the patterned slippers with a boyfriend jean, when I can find one I like. *Holy Grail Alert* (Incidentally, I saw top blogger chick Lucita in Zara...I had to stop myself running up to her and going "Oh My God I Love Your Blog" and various other slightly insane ramblings...good job as she'd probably have got me thrown out!).
Sixth Up: Some Topshop goodies- in the shape of some lush checkerdy pants, some super-useful sweatshirts, and the best side-fastening ankle zip trousers I think I've ever tried on.
And finally (phew)- two new Bazza M colours for spring. You can't go wrong :)

White Lines (Don't Do It)

So, here's some lovely new hauls, plus some lil' outfit ideas that are swirling round in my tiny mind at the minute. It's pretty impossible to avoid monochrome right now (I don't think Zara have anything other than black and white in store) and I'm going with it, big time.
I'm loving jolts of colour too, and I've gone for a cobalt blue here, in the form of one of those lovely waffle Topshop jumpers (yes, another one!) and this divine A-line mini. I'm needing a white shoe to set these beauts off, like a desperado :)
You'll spy some nail art pens here (my first) and I tried them out yesterday in a shockingly useless attempt that can only be described as a massive fail. I'm truly rubbish at this game, and am in total awe of all the amazing nail girlz out there.
Happy Monday, catch you soon xx
