Feet First

I couldn't wait another minute to buy a pair of Birkies, so I dived straight in and swooped on these Zara ones. Love them so much it's actually silly. And yes, I would do a sock with them. And a culotte. *Man Repelling Face* I also went for this textured sweatshirt when I was in there, (not that I don't already own several but this one is, like, totally SharPei. Everyone: 'Why do you wanna look like a wrinkly inbred dog?' Me: 'Dunno, just do!').
I also just had to get these polka dot espadrilles an' all. Of course, my little fashion heart desires nothing less than a pair of Valentino espadrilles. (And let's be honest, a pair of Chanel ones too). Could I? Should I? Nope and nope. The service charge bill is looming and whilst I'd happily forfeit food for fashion, if I don't pay it I'll get my ass sued. So I'mma have to stick with the dupes. Hark, it's that tiny violin again! Sweat The Small Stuff

If you're anything like me, then assembling an OOTD goes something as follows: drag hauls out of bags (all creased); rummage through current crop of clothes (also creased); fling all potential outfit items onto bed; panic; think 'I can't wear that I wore it last week'; panic summore; grab something, anything (whilst camera battery is still charging); tell yourself to 'Hurry Up You Div'; end up putting some rubbish outfit together; trot outside lugging tripod, changes of hats and various assorted items and try and shoot before it rains/gets too sunny/gets dark. Sound familiar? Please tell me I'm not the only one :) And so this is why I'm wearing a textured sweatshirt with a zippy detail pleather skirt. Whilst it doesn't exactly not go, it doesn't exactly go either. If I had another chance, I'd put it together in a bit more of a Saint Laurenty way. (She said). Hope all is good in your world, catch you soon xx

True Blue

Fashionistas Beware! Cobalt Overload Alert! Until I put this outfit together I'd been avoiding wearing together two of my 'Most Worn' purchases of the season so far, namely: my New Balance trainers and my fave Topshop sweatshirt. I just thought they'd be too Matchy-Matchy. And not in a good way. But actually, I kinda like them as a combo. More and more I'm finding, I'll put together an outfit to blog thinking it'll look better in photos than in real life....only to find....I dig what I didn't think would work...and I can very happily incorporate that new mix of items into my wardrobe 'repetoire'. Hopefully that makes more sense than I think it does :)
Have a lovely sunny Monday catch you soon xx

Got Lucky

How sick is this sweatshirt? What's even sicker still is that....I got sent it....freemans! I know! So, a million gazillion thanks to the lovely gorgeous stunning Stacey from OMG Fashion for sending me it (did I go slightly over the top there?!). She also threw a Jack Daniels vest top my way which I'd been, like, craving forever. I'm so psyched it's ridick :) I've actually been offered a few things by PRs before, but I never thought they were very "me" so I had to do the old polite knock-back. So it really is priddy amaze to be sent things you love and that you'll actually wear to death. And to be honest, it's so super-cheap over at OMG that I might actually buy this lil' top to add into my collection. Much love, Happy Monday xx

Tangerine Dream

Illusion trousers are the bomb, especially- if like me- you've eaten several thousand Mini Eggs over the weekend. These thigh-narrowing beauts are a bit of a bargain too at £14.95. (H&M are truly the dons when it comes to churning out a cheap trooser, aren't they?) I've put this zingy cropped sweatshirt with them, although looking at my rolls of fat now, I think I should've probably made another choice. *Creme Egg Face* Having said that, I'm loving a bit of orange with black and white at the minute. Hope you had a lovely Easter and the weather didn't kill it for you too much :) Much love xx P.S. I had the best text ever this morning to say.....our 1D tickets have arrived. Beyond excited doesn't even scratch the surface!!

Swag

So, I just wanted to jump straight in and show youse what I've been splashing the cash on. Apologies in advance as there's probably wayyyy too much stuff here for one post, but I'm a bit over excited and wanted to share :)
First up: I've jumped on the Homies hype. *Predictable Face* This Brian Lichtenberg dupe is priddy good. If you haven't checked out his stuff have a lil' looksee here.
Second up: I got bare bare love for my white stilettos. Ok, so they're plastic. But they were literally the last pair in the shop....and they happened to be Size 5. Score! So, I scooped them up like a ninja.
Third up: Some flatform plimmies. I've been craving these big time and had to search several Topshops for a Size 4 (as Size 5 was comin' up welllll roomy) so I was buzzing to finally find them. (I'm still craving these bad boys but again, there's a lil' sizing issue- Size 4 is a bit small, Size 5 too big so I'm telling myself I can't get them...will it work? Hell to the probably not!).
Fourth up: A fake Ahhh-Bra from Primark. It's actually really strong fabric....I'm super-impressed, and I'll deffo be going for this in a few different colours. And, yeah, I slipped a pair of mirrored round sunnies into my Primark basket. At £2 it would've been silly not to.
Fifth up: I had zero intention of buying these zippy trousers. My mum actually had her eye on them, and since she had declared she was feeling well enough to shop and wanted to 'rejoin the land of the living', we decided to hit up Zara. We both tried them on, and...whadyaknow....we both loved them. They are such an excellent fit, it's insania. By the way- I'm looking to pair the patterned slippers with a boyfriend jean, when I can find one I like. *Holy Grail Alert* (Incidentally, I saw top blogger chick Lucita in Zara...I had to stop myself running up to her and going "Oh My God I Love Your Blog" and various other slightly insane ramblings...good job as she'd probably have got me thrown out!).
Sixth Up: Some Topshop goodies- in the shape of some lush checkerdy pants, some super-useful sweatshirts, and the best side-fastening ankle zip trousers I think I've ever tried on.
And finally (phew)- two new Bazza M colours for spring. You can't go wrong :)

Tiger Tiger Burning Bright

Like the rest of the fashion world I've gone completely cray-cray for sweatshirts this season. I can't get enough of 'em and this tiger motif one is perfect to add to my collection. Sometimes a sweatshirt can drown you a bit, so the fact that this one is slightly cropped makes me like it even more. Once again I have to apologize for the quality of my pictures. If there's anyone in the world more shit at photography than me I've yet to encounter them :) Have a rockin' Wednesday, catch you soon xx

Flakin' & Perpetratin'

The snow has disappeared (for now) and....I'm back to my normal scruffy self, after a minor foray into ladylike chic yesterday. This amaze sweatshirt- which I bought a couple of weeks ago- just does it for me. It's actually from the boys section in Primark (always good for a lil' scout round) and takes me back to being a kid. I was one of those annoying middle-class girls who grew-up listening to NWA and Public Enemy and thought I was extremely dope :) I still love hip hop now...mixed in with a bit of 1D, of course :) Anyhoo, I'm hoping the snow stays away tonight and I can shoot some nice spring pieces tomoz that I've hauled. Have a fab weekend.....droppin' some flava and kickin' some dope beats :) xx
P.S. Ignore the grey socks- they're not a style-statement- just the first ones I grabbed!
