It's Black, It's White

White lace tends to conjour up images of brides and princesses and cute fluffy girly things which are generally not my bag, baby. But when I saw this dress I had a fashion lightbulb moment. I instantly styled it in my tiny brain with black tights, a black hat...black everything, basically. What I envisioned was kinda how it turned out. Hope you're feelin' it too :) x

She Wore Red Velvet

I've finally embraced tights. And OH-MY-DAYS, these tights are UH-MAZE-ING. I think they are possibly the best tights I've ever owned. They're Primark, and I think they were £3, but I've thrown away all the packaging, so if I go for a repeat purchase it'll be guesswork + memory = fingers crossed. I've also been a busy bee in Topshop (again) and bought this gorge red velvet skirt which is so perfect for all potential Christmas ensembles, it's really quite ludicrous. Hope you have spooky old week (if that's what you're up for!) x

She's Electric

How MAZE BALLZ is this HIGH VOLTAGE sweater? (Hello, is that Jumper Rehab? My name is Belle and I have an addiction). I reckon it goes with LOADS of different looks, from skinnies, to shorts, and even over a maxi. I'm priddy psyched to have it in my ever expanding knitwear collection. I also just wanna mention  my new boots. I DIE!! I guess I'm kinda late to the studded buckle boot party but I'm loving these beauts BIG TIME. I got them in Office with a voucher from 'Heat' magazine :) (To say I live for vouchers would be an understatement). Anyhoo, with love from Cheapskate Centrale, over and out for now xx

Mellow Yellow

Mixing black and yellow has been a majeur fash thing for a while now. I put a look together in the Summer with a little sunshine coloured jacket and a dark crochet short. So, when I spied this skirt in Primark at the weekend, I thought I'd attempt an Autumn version too. Here I've just added in a super plain black sweater, and mixed in the *slightly* unexpected element of a tan fedora (I liderally cannot stop buying hats...it must be an illness). Hope your week is off to a ledge start. Kisses xx

Fix Up, Look Sharp

Hard to believe, but...... I've smartened up my act! 99% of the time I'm very scruffy (you may have noticed), and tend to dress down. I do occasionally get these weird pangs of jealousy though when I see girls on the tube who obviously work in the city, or are lawyers and do the whole corporate look. Sometimes I wish I had an excuse to dress up everyday, but just the same, I'm sure they get jell of girls like me who can wear what they like to work :) I got this Gap sweater with a 30% voucher (love those things!), and the rest of the look is heavily Zara. No doubt, dressing like a laydee won't last too long! Laterz fash heads xx

Lady Danger

I think I love an LRD more than an LBD. There's no doubt wearing a red dress shouts 'Hey Look At Me!' quite a lot, and I'm not really a dance-on-the-table-shout-very-loud kinda gal. But this little knitted number is just so cute and easy to wear. Stare and be damned van drivers! Kisses xx

Le Geek C'Est Chic

I love this t-shirt. It's SICK. Normally I'm not into big n baggy clothes, as they kinda swamp me. But when you heart something, and it only comes in 'Small/Medium'...(and is basically as long as a dress)....you just say 'sod it' and run excitedly to the checkout anyway. And besides, it's good to change-up proportions and wotnot from time to time. Incidentally, apologies for looking half dead/the colour of a corpse/squinty eyed. It was early doors when I shot these pictures, and I don't generally look alive until about 2pm. Anyways up, have a fashiontastic weekend y'all. I'm gonna try and find time to hit up Brandy Melville. Buzz!! Bye for now xx

Born This Way

As we all know, clothing sizes can be TOTES random. In one shop you're an extra small, in another you're a medium. This INCRED printed skirt from Zara is a case in point. Normally in Zara I have to go for an extra small skirt. So when I spied this skirt on the rail and there were only mediums left I thought 'Balls'. Well, I took it into the changing room for a try-on anyway....WHADDYAKNOW....it fitted. *Momentary Sad Face* Now....I've been dieting recently (for the run-up-to-Christmas-type-of-thing-so-I-can-eat-shit-loads-then) and everything else I tried on in that particular sesh was a small (in tops) or extra small (in skirts and trews and jeans)....so I could only conclude that I hadn't magically EXPANDED in between garm-changes. *Relief Face* Then in the queue to pay I heard a Zara person saying they only make 'mediums' of some lines, which I have to confess I never knew before. (Duh). I'm guessing then this skirt falls into that 'only one size' category. *Double Relief Face* Cue: END OF MY LONG BORING STORY....nearly! Just a quick last word on the AMAZE print. It's sort of Op Art Meets Ethnic Meets Stained Glass Window. I think!! :) Anyhoo..... over and out for now. xx

Fifty Shades Of Pink

I think I might be a jumper addict. This one from Zara is super slouchy and has got a fanatastic bobbly texture. I reckon it'd be good with a nice faded boyfriend jean, or maybe a skinny dark red leather legging. It's a touch pricey at £45, but absolutely ideal as snuggly go-to in the colder weather.

The Italian Job

So, off I went to H&M Oxford Circus yesterday. For a while now it's pretty much been the WORST place to shop in London. They've been refurbishing for what seems like FOREVER, and in any case, I've always preferred the Regent's Street branch, so I've been hitting that joint up with alarming regularity instead. But, it finally seems to be coming together, with loads of floors, and a slightly more airy feel. So, up on Floor 2 were the Anna goodies. As you can see, all the packaging is AMAZE. It's fun and luxe all at the same time. I tried on the full-on BLING visor shades with the big fat chain and tons of embellishment, and as INSANELY HOT as they were, I decided to go for these slightly more understated curvy beauts instead (plus point: they were quite a bit cheaper too). I can see me wearing these A LOT, especially with a red lip. I just wish I had a stunning black and gold decorative D&G dress a la Anna to set them off to their full potential. Ciao for now.....With Lots of Love & Bling xx

Waffle

It's Friday.....and I'm in love. With my new jumper. From Topshop. It really is pure HEAVEN. I didn't even know I was searching for the perfect navy jumper, but I found it anyway. This baby is soft, the most fantastic shape and has got a fab waffle texture thing going on. Here I've paired it with a tweed skater skirt, which is also to DIE. Have a fantastically fashionable weekend everyone, I'm off to track down those embellished Anna D-R sunnies at H&M tomoz...hope I haven't left it too late! Kisses xx

A Slug Of Scotch

I love a Scottish accent. I'm mad for shortbread. And I ADORE a wee bit of tartan. Thankfully, River Island feel the same, and have hit us up with a mini-collection of AMAZE plaid pieces. I've put this blouse with a skater skirt but I can't wait to pair it with some studded black shorts too. I also bought a divine tartan trooser (please note my accent...ha!) which I'm planning on wearing out and about this weekend, and hopefully getting some snaps of. See youse later jimmies!! :) x

2-For-1

Experimental double outfit post alert! I'm working two early Autumn looks here, both utilizing old stuff mixed with new stuff. The pink fluffy jumper is a new purchase, which I've thrown on over an old maxi dress. The little maroon mini is also new (ooops!), and matched in with last year's Peter Pan collar top (now a firm fave). Also, just to mention, I'm super-psyched about landing a spot (or two!) in the gallery on Chictopia again, and a million thank-Qs to everyone who voted :) xxx
