Two's Company

Doubtless you'll already know and love this insanely good knitted twosie from Zara. It featured in their AW campaign and has had more IG exposure in the last few weeks than a certain oiled-up internet-breaking booty. So far so good. If I had to critique this dynamic duo however, I would say that the pants are actually wayyyy unflattering, and give forth to an unfortunate C-Toe situation. So watch out for that. Otherwise, you deffo won't wear anything more comfy or cosy all season long. Catch you soon xx PS I have 1D Newz...tickets for 2015 are all mine!!! Oh Yeah. PPS This is me. Make-up free. With blepharitis. Bleuuurgggh. If anyone knows of any good mazzy or eyeliner for bleph sufferers please lemmie know, thanx :))

How Now

Brown leather. The very words strike fear into my heart. There's just...a certain...ickyness there. What could possibly be worse than brown leather? Brown pleather, that's what. But, yep, here I am in some brown pleather pants. Doubtless you'll have clocked a lorra lorra magazines heralding an AW season of brown and mahogany and ochre and rust and tan, so we nero-philes better get used to it. Ideally, I'd have shot this look with a nice oversized oatmeal jumper. But a) it's still 20 degrees, and b) I haven't found quite the right beige sweater for the job yet. (Is anyone else having similar Zara problems to me? In I go "Ooooh I freaking love that oversized jumper so I do">>rushes to changing room>>"Shit, it looks like a dress"?) In retrospect, this white vest clearly does not remotely go with this outfit, but as usual I was in massive hurry and just grabbed what was on top of the t-shirt pile. Grey and black accessories probably don't really go either, but, you know, I'm a seriously rubbish blogger and maybe a tiny clash is a good thing? Laterz chicas xx

Partners In Crime

Two of my absolute fave go-to staples over the summer have been this Breton and this pleather short. I've paired them together so frequently that they've become besties :) The top was one of those randoms that you find rummaging around in H&M, never to be seen or heard of again. The shorts however, are still available here. Annnnd....these Zara shorts are also realllly tremendous, as is this boxy top. And how nice and slouchy is this Wood Wood top? I would :) I'm also in Crazy Stupid Love with this Zara shopper, so much so that I may just have bought the blue too. I know I know. Just call me a replicatory moron. (If that is even a word, which it probably isn't, in which case call me an illiterate one too). Catch you soon xx

All The Young Dudes

When I was younger I was totally obsessed with A.P.C. I used to trot along to their little Notting Hill store and get myself all sorts of minimal pieces for that charmant, understated, Proto-Alexa look. Recently, I've been craving some vetements from there again, particularly given that I keep seeing two amazing bloggers- Trini and Lauren- wearing their clothes so beautifully. I was all set to buy a mariniere (best word ever, non?) and possibly a little skirt, when I had a lightbulb moment. Maybe I still had my original denim mini from back in the day, somewhere in the depths of my wardrobe? (Yes, I do actually have a 'Mini Skirt Pile', doesn't everyone? Oh, ok, just me then). Lo and behold, a quick rummage, and ZING, I found my APC skirt. What was even more amazing was that it still fitted- sort of :) I decided a shoot was deffo in order to celebrate, so I popped on my Cos jumper and these are the results. Hope you're feelin' it, catch you soon xx

White Heat

I recently put together a little 'All White Errrythang' post on IG, and being just a teeny bit obsessed with all manner of white shizzle at the minute I thought I'd do another. (There's logic there somewhere). So, diving straight in- I was browsing in Trilogy a few weeks ago and fell completely head over heels with this Helmut Lang blazer. I actually fell hard for everything Helmut Lang (not remotely difficult, to be sure). I also find it priddy tough to resist buying the whole of Monki when I'm in there, and this little crop top is no exception. (Still not quite sure about the 70s decor though). I've been lusting after a Whistles backpack for a while too, as well as the heavenly all-white Daria Sneaker. I die. If hi-tops are your thing though these Adidas ones are white-hot too. (See what I did there). Finally we have a Givenchy short (good work Riccardo) and some lovely Byredo and Rodin products. Catch you soon xx

Rhapsody In Blue

I couldn't wait to buy these troosers when I first spied them but...just a little heads up.....1) they crease like bastards and 2) they have a tendency to fall down, so go for the smallest size you can. Aside from that, they are ledge. The side-zip detail is to die and they are super-comfy. I'm also priddy pleased with this cropped Breton I picked up recently too...but...I think I must've bought at least 10 striped tops in the last four weeks alone. Ooops :) *Addict Face* And....yeah...I did change shoes half way through shooting this. I was just too desperate to get my slides on, but in retrospect black doesn't really go with blue in this instance. (Normally I like a bit of a blue-black clash thing, but I think we can consider this a fail. Maybe a black top would blend a bit more). Any thoughts? Lemmie know :) xx

Mr and Mrs Smith

So, finally, a couple of weeks back I managed to find some Stan Smiths in a Size 5. Let's have a partay! I've been wearing them to death (obvs), but as is the way with me, I've now got my eye on some Air Force 1s. Can I possibly justify having three pairs of white sneaks? (Bank Manager: Hell To The No). I also recently picked up this little Breton dress in Zara. Talk about easy peasy breezy Summer wear. Heaven innit :) I couldn't resist these sunnies in And Other Stories either. That place just blows my mind in so many ways.
(Cheaper than Topshop sunnies too. Just sayin'). What new season purchases have you been making recently? Lemmie know :) xx

All I Learnt At School

After searching high and low for a baggy trouser that didn't overwhelm, and didn't break the bank, I settled on these Zara classics. Basically, they are the standard bootcut trooser they do every season in their workwear range. I'm still not a happy fashion bunny though, as I want summink in a cotton fabric I think, and perhaps also with a higher waist to wear with crop tops. A bit like this. (Actually, come to think of it, I might go for both those pieces). Are you feeling a baggier trouser this S/S? Lemmie know :) xx

Starry Eyed

My exhausting search for some Stan Smiths *Headless Fashion Sheep/Chicken Alert* has left me white trainerless....up until now. I decided to go for a pair of Superstars in the meantime to scratch that little itch. And, I love them. Back in the day, I had a pair of Stans and a pair of Shell-Toes, both with reallly fat laces. I'm sure they must be under my bed somewhere (along with about two hundred other pairs of shoes I can't be arsed to rummage through). Anyway, box-fresh is so much nicer, innit. *Gangsta Face*
So, what does everybody think of Porter? I just kinda thought it was like Harpers 2.0. Not surprising really, given that Lucy Y is at the helm. It is deffo incredibly slick....but for me...it's just a bit....static. A touch, corporate maybe? It's bound to get better. Anyone remember Grazia when it started? They used to put six month old pap pictures on the cover. Quelle Horreur. And the horoscopes were at the front (of book...as we say in The Bizz). I'll buy it again, no diggity, but then again, I am The World's Biggest Magazine Addict.
Oh, and you might have noticed....I've bought a new nail polish. Appaz, 'Charivari' means loud noisy folk music, and it was also the name of a nineteenth century French satirical newspaper. How it sums up this lush deep plum colour I'm not quite sure, but it's heaven, so whatevs. If you've got any white sneaks/magazine/polish thoughts hit me up. Laterz chicks xx
