One Hump Or Two

In one corner we have The Holy Grail. In the other, nowt. A camel coat should be there but it ain't. Reason? I.Cannot.Freaking.Find.One. But wait.....what? You're wearing one you silly girl. Welllll, gotta confess- this beaut of a coat isn't mine. Nope. It's my mum's. Can you see how freaking well made it is, and the kwality of the wool? That's coz it's Zadig & Voltaire. But not yer regular Z&G. It's actually from their Deluxe line, which means it's, big big bux. Like, huge. Ridick. Insane. It's also about 3 years old now (how ahead of the curve is mumsy?) so you can't even track this bugger down. All I can say is that I wish it was mine, and that the search continues. This Is England

Bomber jackets are priddy much my most favouritist thing evah. Last year I bought four (oops), so this year I've been trying to chill my boots and restrain myself from any further purchases. But then....Filipa K happened. This beaut of a jacket had me at Halla. (Swedish Face). I spied it on loads of Scandi bloggers, all over IG and also on the ultimate Italian babe that is Giorgia Tordini. I knew one had to be mine. However a) it's basically sold out everywhere and b) it's freaking expensive. (Liberty stock a bit of FK, but not the jacket). So, who should come riding in on a white charger? Topshop, obvs, with this cheeky lil' dupe. I've been trying super hard not to buy anything this month (electricity bill came and went, eye test came and went- new glasses required, Christmas coming sooner than you think, yadda yadda yadda); but this had me splashing that (non existant) cash. I bought a 12 as it's not very oversized, and very happy I am with it too. You feelin' the bomber love? Lemmie know! Catch you soon xx

The Overall Outlook

I've wanted some black dungarees for freaking ages, so when I saw these babies in H&M I pounced. I've got *ahem* quite a few Bretons that'll go under 'em nicely, and then when the weather chills down I'll employ a cardi. I can't find my ones on-line (plus ca change), and ASOS have sold out of their nice denimy/cottony ones, but these are priddy cute. Are you feeling dungarees? I promise I'll inject some colour into my life soon, but in the meantime let's just lust summore over monochrome. I heart a coffee-table book quite majorly (don't you?). I have a ton of Vogue ones, but this Tom Ford tome would enhance my collection greatly. I've already seen a few bloggers in this McQ knit, it's really too sick. Kinda Shady

When I bought this hat last Saturday I was instantly thrown into a styling meltdown. Do you ever start to try and construct a mental lookbook in your head the minute you haul something new? That 'Ooooh, I love what I just bought' seretonin buzz in my brain no doubt contributes to the gormless look I have on my face most of the time when shopping. Well, that's my excuse :) By the time I'd wandered from Oxford Street over to Pret on Cavendish Square to grab a Diet Coke *Standard Face* I'd decided to style-up an all grey outfit to go with my new purchase. A Very Berry Christmas

How cute is the little coat from H&M? It's got a nice textured finish and pings my lust for all things dark red. I actually bought it with a voucher *No Surprises There Face* so it worked out stupidly cheap. Yay! I've just paired it here with my go-to Jamies and ankle boots....it's kinda safe.....kinda boring....but that is how I roll :) Hope your week is going berry well (cringe). Laters chicks xx

Swiss Miss

I'd been deciding whether to buy this jumper for a few weeks when I saw the lovely Charlotte Fashion Guitar had purchased it, so being her Number One Fangirl I duly followed :) (Seriously though, if there is a more perfect, stunningly stylish, beautifully-bumped preggers laydee on the whole planet I've yet to see her). Luckily this sweater has got no angora and no mohair- result! (Like, who can be dealing with that shit? The very second I try anything on with those two made-by-the-devil yarns I have to take them off straight a-freakin-way, y'know?) I've styled this ultra-boringly (quelle surprise) and I'll be wearing it even more pedestrianly (is that a word?) with skinnies all winter long. Phoebe Or Not To Be

As we all know, Zara are freaking amaze at paying homage to the best of the best when it comes to designers. Namely: Celine, Balenciaga and Stella. (Not to mention Hedi and a little bit of Isabel too). Some people think "Jeeez, that's blatant duping, can that be legal?", but I just think "When's payday?" As much as I would love love love to have a wardrobe comprising of nowt but pieces by Phoebe and Alex and Stella, that shit ain't ever gonna happen. So, in short, thank-you Zara :)

Booty Call

So, there I was in Zara, taking back a pair of shorts (and getting these boots- Big Swoon- Hello Foot Candy) and the girl behind the desk goes to me "Wow, these are really short!". Translation: You're wayyyy too fat for those. But no- she wasn't done yet with the digs. She looked at said shorts again and goes "They remind me of something I'd wear when I was a kid!!". Translation: You're wayyyy too old for those. Swear down! This girl was too mean for Mean Girls 2. I just gave her my best sarcarstic smile. (She was really quaking at that one!). With cash desk bitches like her, who needs enemies? Anyroad, onto these lush booties. I didn't really want a flat flat boot for A/W (what with being somewhat vertically challenged) but these just feel really right. I hate a boot where the toe turns up (don't you?) and these absolutely do not do that. Trust me, they look a lot better on than off. Annnndddd...well, what with them not being super-expensive it gives me a bit of scope to possibly also get these too. (Although I'd have to wait for a voucher of some kind to come into my life).
