The Mango Obsession

No, we're not talking fruit, but- surprise surprise- clothes. Mango have actually always slayed- albeit- in a slightly more under the radar way than Zara; but this season they've really upped their game with the phenomenal Committed Collection. This low-key selection of neutrals in a bleached-out palette has basically got me wanting to gambol through a field of straw (and trust me when I say I'm usually thoroughly devoted to my sofa). Drawing on the amazing work of Simon Jacquemus (I die) and Stella McCartney's SS17 Collection, every single piece will give you major summer vibes. I went for the paperbag-waist pants which I adore, but these palazzo pants are equally insane. Mango's shoe-game is also incredibly strong RN, and I recently picked up these white leather flats which may just win the medal for the most comfortable shoe of all-time, (and may also just be a teeny bit similar to this very expensive, very beautiful original). You feeling Mango this season?  Let me know, catch you soon x

iHaul 2.0

I couldn't resist this shamaze check jumper in Topshop when I hit up Oxford Circus last weekend....all the while thinking and dreaming of this Stella Knit. It's kinda skimpy and not nearly oversized enough for me, but I'll shoot it nonetheless and see how the hell it turns out.
I've actually become a bit of a New Balance addict of late. If I could have 574s in every colour I think I would. These'll probably be the next in my shopping basket. They are ridick comfy and make me that much needed inch or two taller. I've also gone for this heavenly A/W 13 Essie colour 'Vested Interest'. It's perfect.
I also scooped up this top in Zara a couple of weeks back. It kinda puts me in mind of a Trapeze Bag. God, I crave a Trapeze like an Instagram Rich Kid. Phoebe is doing this colourway for S/S 14 so I'm feeling it might have some longevity.
And finally, who can resist burgundy? These Gap coated skinnies are my new go-to. Obvs, I'd love some Kate Bozzie x Topshop leathers or some Izzie x H&M side lace pants but I just got my gas bill and it wasn't a priddy sight. Furthermore, Topshop have changed their beanies this year, and I'mma have a hissy fit about this unfortunate development. Mostly coz the new ones are scratchy and pre-turned-up. Still, the shape is better than most and actually fits my fat swede. Get yours here.
What have you been hauling recently? Hit me up with your purchase news :) Catch you soon lovelies xx

It's Good To Be Mac

My pash for pinstripes was reignited when I spied this bomber jacket in H&M. I scooped it up thinking I'd pair it with my boyfriend jeans. Sweet as! Then I realised I've blogged my boyfriend jeans approximately seven thousand times so I'd better try and mix it up with summat else. When I looked back over my piccies from this shoot...uh-oh....disaster darling. *Craig Revel Horwood Face* The final look wasn't really working for me. Somehow all the proportions came out wrong. I'm not sure if I needed a different shoe, or a different skirt, but anyways, I thought I'd just throw this post out there anyway :) This polo neck is actually ledge, but in these frames it's come out looking all clingy and ruffly and rubbish. It reminds me of the opening scene in 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' where Julie Andrews opines that her beads just won't hang straight. (If you've never seen the film please please please watch it....it's just sheer heaven). Who's hitting up Office this week with the latest Grazia voucher? Me hopefully! See you there :) x

Make Mine A Stella

When I saw this sweatshirt on Zara's 'New In' I instantly fell :) It's just, like, completely Stella. Continuing on with my impromptu 'Designer Dupe Week' (c/o Zara) I've yet again done my own little version of a Ready-To-Wear A/W 13 look. A sweatshirt just couldn't be an easier way to wear pinstripes, and for that I am eternally grateful. Amen. Hope you have a fab weekend, catch you soon x
PS 'Action' shots are hella difficult....props to anyone who does them!

Orange Crush

Ever since I saw THIS AMAZING look at Stella Mac's S/S 13 show I've been longing to recreate my own lil' half-baked version. For some reason, a nice baggy emerald neoprene- or even knitted- jumper has remained elusive on my shopping rounds. So I decided to pair these incred joggers with my next best option- an orange sweatshirt. I can't get enough of both of these colours this season- and well, whaddya know- they're complimentary. *Art Historian Face*. I reckon these lush silky pantaloons go well with just about any strong colour really, as well as black and white. Result! Espesh as I heart them loads :) Much love, catch you soon xx
