How I Scored This Sold Out Shirt

When something's hot it's hot. Pink bomber jackets, fishnet ankle socks, anything Gucci; they're all having their moment. And when something sells-out at H&M and sweeps Instagram, but you don't have it in your life, drastic action- or at least karma- is required. We're talking: the big cuffed white shirt. And the randomness with which it came to be in my possession proves that shopping IRL is still basically where it's at. So, there I was scooting round H&M at Oxford Circus last Saturday. I had an appointment to get my hair did at 2.30pm so I couldn't shilly-shally. Pacing the third floor I wasn't really expecting to see owt to inflame my passions, let alone any big-cuffed beauts. But wait! O.M.G. There it was- the very shirt I was after- literally the only one on the rail. I grabbed at it, but was instantly crestfallen when I saw it was a Size 16. I'm all for oversizin', but it would've probably taken #bedsheetchic to hitherto unprecedented levels. So off I trudged when I thought, 'Sod it, maybe I'll try on that floral bomber just in case I heart it loads'. I grabbed said jacket and moved over to a mirror right by a rail of short-sleeved white shirts. Then I glanced at the rail. Could it be? Were the angels singing? One long-sleeved shirt was just slightly poking out from amongst the shorties. And HolyLuckyBitches- it had big cuffs and was a Size 10! Yassss. Wow. Shut The Front Door. And all manner of other less publishable words came tumbling out my mouth. And here is that hottie. Freaking perfect innit? If you've ever scored a sold-out item you'll know my joy. Catch you soon xx

Straight Trippin'

You'd have to seriously have your head stuck in the sand to have not noticed that dunagrees are everywhere at the minute, and in lots of lovely formats too. I've already indulged my pash for them here in the form of some sleek Zara ones and also with a cute River Island dress which I somehow seem to have managed to completely mislay the post for (Doh. Seriously, I've just searched my own blog for 10 minutes....what the hell did I call that post and where the jumpin' jesus has it gone? Anyways). So I thought I'd go down the playsuit route with these acid-wash ones from Primark. The fit is priddy good on 'em, but my only complaint would be the pocket is wayyy too small. (Can you see how I'm struggling to squish my big fat hand in there?). I seriously haven't taken this Zara shirt off either since I got it. (Okay, so I have washed it a few times, but you know what I mean!). Get yours here. I shot these pictures at the weekend and although it was finally, divinely WARMER I'm still absolutely dreading getting my legs out. I seem to get paler and fatter with every passing day. Oh well, I hear a KitKat calling me :) Much love, catch you soon xx

Back To Basics

Even though last week was beyond super-expensive, it hasn't stopped me shopping *Guilty Face* My latest acquisitions are a little bit....*gasp*...practical, so I hope this post doesn't send you to sleep too much :) Buying basics isn't the most exciting shopping there is, but you know it needs to get done.
So...first up...a simple white sleeveless shirt from Zara. This pure beaut will see me through the whole summer. I also went for some nice mashed-up shorts when I was in there- which I can see going with all my recent shoe purchases. Speaking of shoes, these H&M pointy loafers are excellent. They fit really nicely, and they're leather. Sold!
Secondly, another pair of shorts. It's probably a little cray to buy these during the coldest spring week in history, but that Glamour voucher needed flexing :) The sunnies remind me a bit of Chanel, so I went with them. They'll deffo perk up a more lady-like outfit (should I ever wear such a thing!).
Thirdly, I couldn't resist these dotty-print jeggings. They fit like a glove, although I'm not quite sure yet what might go nicely with them.
Finally, some boyfriend jeans from Gap. (How freaking good was their sale thing this weekend? It was so cheap my head was spinning. Although, obvs, their price-points could use a little adjusting in the first instance!). And I've also gone for three of your finest Topshop vest tees. Most summers Topshop do a tee I die for, so I tend to buy them in a few colours and wear them to death. Hopefully these will be no exception. Much love, catch you soon xx
